This training program will prepare individuals for a career in the Electronic E-waste recycling industry through actual hands-on experience collecting, handling and dismantling various Electronic E-waste products.
What is Electronic E-waste? According to CalRecycle, E-waste is a popular, informal name for electronic products nearing the end of their “useful life.” Computers, televisions, VCRs, stereos, copiers, cell phones, old phone systems, radios, kitchen appliances (except microwaves, refrigerators and stoves), fax machines, etc. are common electronic products. Many of these products can be reused, refurbished, or recycled.
